About the Event
This is Bristols' largest disability focused multi-sport festival - a chance to try some of the city's amazing inclusive opportunities.
The event is a collaboration between event organisers Access Sport, Out & About, Cerebral Palsy Plus and University of Bristol. It wouldn't be possible without all the amazing coaches and volunteers from the community clubs who generously offer their time to support the event.
Who's the event for?
- d/Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent participants, and their families and friends
- No age limit, typically participants have been children and young people but adults are also very welcome. Most activities are best suited to 5+ years
- This is not a drop-off event, participants must be accompained by a parent/carer/responsible adult throughout. Parents and siblings are welcome to join in the fun though!
- It's also a great opportunity for professionals who working with disabled people to see what is available
What to expect
- Lots of positive energy, friendliness and fun! A place where everyone is welcome and included.
- 15-20 different local sports and activity clubs offering taster sessions in a wide range of activities, some high energy, some very chilled. No experience is necessary and all the coaches are great at adapting to meet different needs. Full information will be shared before the event so you know what to expect
- Local organisations with stalls to find out more about their services
- Participants move around as you like, no set time frames or schedules. Stay for as long or as little as you like.
- Food truck to buy refreshments

Accessibility
- BSL Interpreter/ Communication Support Workers available
- The site is level-access and wheelchair accessible
- Accessible toilet with hoist (No Changing Place)
- Quiet zone available
- Attendees are welcome to wear ear defenders, sunglasses and use any fidget devices
- Coaches delivering sessions are experienced in meeting a wide range of needs
- Free parking on site
